JOBSUMMARY:

The Lead’srole is to direct the day-to-day operations of the overnight shift and toensure each guest experiences to a level of service and comfort meeting and/orexceeding Harrah’s standard in the absence of a supervisor. The Lead Guest Services Representative willperform the Night Audit Functions of the Hotel. As a Lead Guest Representative you will be located in the hotel lobbybehind an open kiosk station with the ability to maneuver around the lobby tointeract with guests and offer personalized assistance. A lead Guest ServiceRepresentative must also greet guests and check them in and out as they arrive anddepart from the hotel, assist guests with their luggage if needed, answerquestions and build memorable relationships with our guests. The Lead Guest Service Representative plays akey role in creating an impression when our guests arrive and depart, and a keyrole in guiding their teammates, therefore an outgoing energetic, genuine andcustomer oriented personality is vital for this position.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:

· Registers guestsinto hotel following established procedures; involves communication with theGuest Service Representatives and Supervisors.

· Possessescomplete knowledge of hotel room policies and procedures and ensures adherenceto standard guidelines by all subordinate personnel.

· Cashiersfollowing established procedures including accurate record keeping, posting ofguest charges, cash payment receipts and billing disputes.

· Oversees theadministration of room assignments and/or room departures.

· Completes nightlyreports including Daily Occupancy report, Seven Star Arrival report, LateCheck-out Report, Cabana rental report, Over credit limit report, Hangingbalance report, Daily Buzz Planner and other reports as assigned

· Assist guests byattempting to honor special requests for specific accommodations and presentsoptions when those requests cannot be met.

· Accurately inform guests of shows, facilities, services and roomamenities available at Harrah’s.

· Follows up with each guest as needed.

· Is technically competent enough to counsel, guide and instruct the GSR’sin the daily performance of their duties.

· Is able to assume the Supervisor responsibilities for any shift whenevernecessary.

· Assist in the periodic reviews of assigned personnel, by providing inputsto the supervisor.

· Ensures that the highest level of service is extended to guests, bothinternal and external.

· Must be able to stand up to 10 hours per day.

ADDITIONALJOB DUTIES:

  • Oversee Front Services and Valet in the absence of a Supervisor or Valet Lead

EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE:

· HighSchool Diploma or GED required

· One-three years’ experience in FrontOffice as a Guest Services Representative or equivalent.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed are representative of theknowledge, skill and/or ability required to fulfill the obligations of thisposition.

· Guest serviceexperience required.

· Must be able towork overnight shift, flexible hours and all shifts as assigned.

· Must be able tospeak, read, write and understand English.

· Must have andmaintain a valid AZ Drivers License and successful Mother Vehicle Report (MVR).

· Computerexperience and proficiency in Word, Excel and Internet Use is required. Ability to type 35 wpm.

· Must possess theability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Must be detail oriented.

· Must haveknowledge of casino and hotel amenities.

· Must have basicknowledge of local area.

· Must bepersonable and energetic.

· Must present awell groomed appearance at all times and a professional demeanor.

· Must performduties with a sense of urgency.
