Hotel Yield Manager- Full Time (Harrah's Ak-Chin Casino)
Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- ·Maintains room rates and rate structures in the Hotel Management System under the guidance of Hotel management and the Planning & Analysis Manager
- ·Coordinate with all areas of marketing and group sales to effectively deliver group, event, and direct mail programs that do not displace revenue from the hotel and deliver high occupancy rates.
- ·Determines room availability and pricing for all Group Sales, Events room and distribution channel requests. Monitor all groups to assure their room blocks are properly maintained and recalled as deemed necessary.
- ·Review, act and report on any current RM irregularities within LMS and RMS that may result in increased optimal revenue capture.
- ·Maintains and reports on weekend displacement analysis to capture future expected demand more efficiently.
- ·Responsible for determining historical demand and demand weight for events and promotions.
- ·Maintains event and promotions historical demand and Revenue DB
- ·Monitors Sales groups and updates rates.
- ·Review group blocks and ensure proper criteria is placed within each group master account, including but not limited to billing, inventory against contract.
- ·Provides RMS systems and analysis expertise to help internal customers including but not limited to hotel, marketing, and group sales.
- ·Creates and maintains all future and existing RM related excel files and models on a routine basis and maintains them as read-only for other departments utilization.
- ·Develops, analyzes, evaluates and recommends improved methods, recurring and ad-hoc reports, and tools for property based on RM data.
- ·Establishes methods, procedures and general guidelines required to maintain desired standards, and monitors results.
- ·Chairs and prepares materials for weekly RM meetings
- ·Updates daily/weekly/monthly reports for other departments.
- ·Monitors Direct Mail offers and performs cross-reference against settings within LMS and makes recommendations to maximize profits.
- ·Assists in monitoring Marketing calendar for changes and ensuring RM goals are maintained and optimized through efficient utilization of DM campaigns and Events.
- ·Assists in preparation of annual hotel budgets. Explains expenditures and variances to budget on a monthly basis. Is responsible for the timely completion of departmental reports. Distributes related reports to applicable departments as assigned.
- ·Supports generation of departmental analytical information, presentations, and updates.
- ·Creates accurate and timely reports from various systems.
- ·Manages and updates rates and availability for all distribution channel partners, including 3rd party internet providers, Synxis, and other wholesalers (if applicable).
- ·Maintains overall relationship with Harrah’s Teleservices Center. Responds to requests for assistance in a timely manner.
- ·Maintains and updates the Hotdeals calendar on Caesars.com website with support from C.com Distribution team.
- ·Provides detailed analysis of DM offers, retail, Internet booked, and advertised redemption rates.
- ·Maintains and updates daily room and revenue reports
- ·Maintains Marketing Databases including but not limited to; Direct Mail, Business Source, Cash Revenue, Theo/Win, Discounts and Promotions, Third Party.
- ·Manages Packaging and Promotional Bookings Pace and Revenue. Makes recommendations to maximize profits.
ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:
· Provides other administrative support as needed.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier program in one of the following areas or in an equivalent technical field preferred: Finance, Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Revenue or Hotel Management, Business, Accounting.
· Relevant work experience in financial analysis, hospitality, marketing, operations analysis, or the gaming industry preferred but not required.
· Experience with BI technologies such as Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau preferred.
· Must be technically skilled and have experience using data analysis tools including Windows and MS Office products. Must be able to quickly learn relevant industry database applications and software
· Experience with Hyperion Essbase and Microsoft Access preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be able to manage numerous projects simultaneously at various stages of development
