The role of the HDS Supervisor is to assist the HDS Manager in the administration and implementation of the HDS Career Development Program. The HDS Supervisor plays a key role in enabling participating employees to develop skills to successfully perform in current/future positions within the company.



Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

· Minimum one year leadership experience, education, self-directed learning, career development or related field.

· Bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.

· Experience in conducting/facilitating adult training courses preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Must be able to coordinate multiple priorities simultaneously and set and meet deadlines

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.

· Must present a well-groomed appearance.

· Computer literacy; Intermediate to advanced

· Computer skills (Microsoft Office) and other system experience preferred.

· Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team.

· Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the casino.

· Must have bending mobility.

· Must be able to lift 25 pounds for a short period of time.

· Must be able to follow company guidelines, policies and departmental directives.

· Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.

· Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10-key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine and photo copier.

· Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.

· Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

· Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.

Must be able to work on a computer for long periods of time

Preference is given to Ak-Chin community members and members of other recognized Arizona tribes.
